* Charged water flushing: large water flushing and small water flushing. The flushing water, the effective length of the operating rod and the distance between the person and the live part must meet the requirements of the industry regulations.
* Power cut cleaning: after the power cut of the line, the workers climb on the pole and wipe it with rags. If it cannot be cleaned, it can be cleaned with wet cloth or detergent. If it cannot be cleaned, replace the insulator or composite insulator.
* Uninterrupted cleaning: generally, the insulator is wiped on the running line with an insulating rod equipped with a brush or bound with cotton yarn. The electrical performance and effective length of the insulating rod used, as well as the distance between the person and the live part, shall comply with the provisions of the corresponding voltage level, and special personnel must be assigned to monitor the operation.
